Ingredients:
2 boxes of any cake mix
Water, oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
6 ½ cups white butter cream icing
1 Pouch Cake Mate® Glitter Icing in Shimmering Pink
1 Package Cake Mate® 8-pack Decorating Tips
1 2oz Bottle Cake Mate® Cupcake Gems Classic Pearls
1 Package Cake Mate® 29 Again Birthday Candles
Instructions:
STEP 1 Prepare each cake mix in separate bowls, according to the box instructions.
STEP 2 Using 9-inch pans, bake 3 cakes following the directions on the cake mix boxes.
STEP 3 Let cakes cool completely.
STEP 4 Assemble the 3 layer cake using the white buttercream icing between each layer and to cover the outside of the cake.
STEP 5 Using Cake Mate® Glitter Icing in Shimmering Pink, make the dots decoration on the outside of the cake. Use tip #12 for the large dots, tip #5 for the medium sized dots, and tip #3 for the smallest dots.
STEP 6 Place the Cake Mate® Cupcake Gems white pearls on the top and side of the cake.
EXPERT TIP: Use tweezers to strategically place the pearls for an elegant finish.
STEP 7 Top your cake with Cake Mate® 29 Again birthday candles.
